Asian Le Mans Series

The Asian Le Mans Series (Asian LMS) – www.asianlemansseries.com – was resurrected by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) in 2013 as a successor to the now defunct Japan Le Mans Challenge.

In 2009, the inaugural Asian LMS event, featuring two 500km races, was held in Okayama, Japan and this was followed by a 1000km race in Zhuhai, China in 2010, before the ACO announced at the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans that it would be reviving the Asian Le Mans Series in 2013.

Modelled on the American and European Le Mans Series’, it’s open to both prototypes and GT-spec machinery and tours Asia’s greatest motorsport venues, including Fuji Speedway, Zhuhai International Circuit, Sepang International Circuit and the newly inaugurated Chang International Circuit in Thailand.
