Eurasia driver, Daniel Ricciardo, took in the Snetterton round of the Formula BMW UK Championship and impressed with an eighth place finish.
Ricciardo drove for Motaworld Racing alonside fellow Australian and ex-Formula BMW Asia racer, Michael Partrizi. A one day test at Pembury was followed by qualifying at Snetterton. Daniel impressed with 13th place in both qualifying sessions despite never having seen the circuit before.
The first race saw him non-finish after a first lap clash but the second race was much better finishing a fighting eighth. The experience should help Daniel reach the top step of the podium at the next Formula BMW Asia event at Bira in Thailand on September 2/3rd.
