JW 1In another exciting Asian Le Mans qualifying session Ho Pin Tung set initial pole position before James Winslow, in the Eurasia Oreca Nissan, set a stunning 1m 39.850 lap. However the time was removed due to corner cutting at the chicane. Tung, who had pitted along with Winslow, rejoined to record 1m 39.860 on his last lap whilst Winslow just fell short with a 1m 40.002. The race starts at 3pm on Saturday with John Hartshorne behind the wheel. Chinese driver, Pu Jun Jin, has set some impressive times in practice and is hoping for a good result in front of his home crowd.
