Eurasia Motorsport is providing support for the Arise Racing GT program in the 2024 GT World Challenge Australia Championship. The team are entering two new Ferrari 296 GT3 cars with a stellar driver line up. Arise Racing GT is joining the championship at the April 11-14 event to be held at Phillip Island. Liam Talbot, as reigning GTWC Australia Champion, carries number one on his car and is joined by Supercars star, Chaz Mostert. Radical star, Elliot Schutte, will drive alongside Supercar and GT professional Jaxon Evans in the number eight Ferrari.
Eurasia Motorsport has won 23 championships in the Asian Region and run cars globally under their own name. They have also managed and run successful campaigns on behalf of other teams in Asian Le Mans, GT in Asia and GTD in IMSA plus joint ventures in races such as Daytona and Dubai 24h.
Eurasia are providing engineers and mechanics to work alongside Arise Racing GT personnel resulting in a strong team with plenty of experience. The team held a successful shakedown test last month at the Wanneroo Race Circuit which is close to the Arise Racing GT base in Perth. “The Ferrari is a step forward for GT3 cars and after the Wanneroo test we are confident we will be competitive” said Mark Goddard, Eurasia Motorsport Team Principal. “Arise Racing GT has put together a fantastic program and we are already working together as one unit. GT World Challenge Australia is going to be incredibly competitive this year and we are looking forward to having some great racing”.
