The ARGT Ferrari 296 GT3 with technical support from Eurasia Motorsport had an eventful event at the iconic Philipp Island circuit. A fifth place in race one after a 15 second penalty was taken for causing a collision was followed by second place in race two. Jaxon Elliott and Elliott Schutte came away second in the Drivers Championship just two points behind arch rivals Broc Feeney and Brad Schumacher.

Starting drivers for race one are the Bronzes’ and Elliott Schutte was right in the mix after qualifying second on the grid. However an ambitious dive late in his stint saw contact resulting in a 15 second penalty. Jaxon Evans took over and drove well to overcome most of the penalty, finishing 5th in the adjusted results.

Jaxon Evans sat second on the grid for race two and held the place despite a chaotic first lap. Schutte took over and brought the car home in 2nd place in an eventful stint which saw contact between several rivals. Elliott did a great job to steer clear of trouble.

Next round is at The Bend on May 8-10.
