The fourth round of the GT World Challenge Australia Championship did not produce the expected results for the ARGT Ferrari 296 GT3 with technical support from Eurasia Motorsport. Race one saw the car non-finish after a turn one, first lap multi-car accident whilst in race two Jaxon Evans and Elliott Schutte finished in sixth place.
Steering damage after the first race accident forced a retirement whilst race two saw the car start in 7th place. This is where the car finished at the chequered flag which became 6th place after post race penalties were applied.
The series now moves to Sydney Motorsport Park in September and the team hopes to move up from the current 5th place in the driver’s championship. This season has seen huge swings in points and several different championship leaders therefore there is still hope for a good end to the season.
