Ananda Mikola was a disappointed 4th after an eventul race which began with a bad start, continued with a fighting drive from 5th to 2nd then ended in 4th place after a spin. Karun Chandook won from Matt Haliday.
Mikola bogged down at the start and fell to 5th place which quickly became 3rd by the second lap. He caught and swept past Hanns Lin for second place on the fifth lap and pulled away from a group comprising Halliday, Lin and Seth Ingam. Once Halliday fought past Lin he slowly caught the Indonesian and by lap 13 was within a second. However Mikola looked comfortable and was not pushing when the brakes locked at turn four and he spun down to fifth behind Hamad, who had fought his way into what was now third from the back of the grid, and Seth Ingam.
Mikola was pushing Ingham when the American dropped a couple of places with a moment leaving Mikola to cruise home in fourth behind Hamad, Halliday and race winner Chandook.
