Japanese kart ace, Sho Hanawa, impressed on the first of a five day test at Sepang whilst Indonesian Zahir Ali got to grips with a Formula BMW car.
Hanawa impressed the team with his speed and feedback, the young Japanese setting a 2m 14.1 lap time at the end of the first day of testing. Hanawa has now returned to Japan leaving Indonesian Zahir Ali as the sole tester on the 5th. Ali has been steadily increasing his pace over the first two days of his five day test, finishing the second day with a 2m 14.9 lap time in relatively hot conditions.
Scholarship winner, Daniel Ricciardo, will join the team for three days running starting Monday 6th February.
