Greg murphy hopes to retain his Promotions Class lead after rounds 5 and 6 of the Asian Formula Three Series which will be held at the Zhuhai Circuit on June 18/19th.
Minardi Team Asia travel straight from the Formula BMW Asia race in Thailand to the Zhuhai International Circuit, Guangdong China for this weekend’s AF3 event. Murphy emerged Promotions Class leader after rounds 3 and 4 also held at the Chinese Circuit last month.
The Irishman has proved a model of consistency and has kept his head whilst his rivals have thrown their cars at the scenery. “If I can keep qualifiying and finishing in the top three I see no reason why I cannot retain the Promotions Class Championship for the Ambi Pur Team Goddard – Minardi Team Asia Team” said a confident Murphy.
