Greg Murphy in his Ambi Pur Team Goddard-Minardi Team Asia Dallara 398 TOM’S car qualified second in class and took a third and fourth place in rounds one and two of the Asian Formula Three Series held at the Batangas Race Circuit on April 10th.
Irishman Murphy, who is supported by Fibre LED, made a sensible debut and elected to score points rather than push too hard and possibly crash out at the demanding an d bumpy BRC circuit. The weather conditions were extremely hot and humid and were physically extremely demanding for a driver hailing from a Country not renowned for its heat or humidity!

“Now that Greg has got his first race under his belt we are sure he will score more points in Zhuhai circuit. We have won five out the last six AF3 races held at Zhuhai so we know we have a good basic set up for the car which will help Greg enormously” said Team Proprietor Mark Goddard.
“The event at BRC was fantastic, the atmosphere was like nothing I have encountered in Europe and I really felt I was racing in a GP” said Murphy, “I am really enjoying working with Mark and the teams race engineer Martin Quick and Berto Bautista and I am looking forward to Zhuhai on May 8th”
