Daniel Ricciardo, who drove for Eurasia in his first year of Formula Car racing, won a thrilling Canadian Grand Prix in his Red Bull. Ricciardo, who attributes the grounding he received from Eurasia as an essential part of his success, raced In the 2006 F.BMW Series with the team. His success not only confirms that Asian Motor Sport is a valid career path for young drivers but also that Eurasia Motorsport is the team to join. Ricciardo is the tip of the iceberg with many ex-Eurasia drivers racing and winning at International level.  2010 Formula BMW Pacific Champion, Richard Bradley, is competing in next weekend’s Le Mans 24 Hours in an LMP2 for example.

“It seems only yesterday he was racing with us in Asia” reports Team Principal Mark Goddard. “He demonstrated he had a natural talent to drive a race car on the limit and he really impressed with his attitude. He understood to look at himself first before changing the car and his positive attitude really helps to get a team behind him. He and his family are truly good people and its great to see him demonstrate that a steely determination to succeed does not have to come with an overly aggressive attitude out of the car. We are really happy for him”

Eurasia has a seat in the next Formula Masters China round to be held at Inje on July 20th, normal incumbent Sean Hudspeth having army duties that week. Interested drivers should contact Mark Goddard at [email protected] The car will be available for several more events before the end of the season.
