The first two races of the 2008 Formula BMW Pacific series will take place this weekend at the Sepang Malaysian F1 Grand Prix. Eurasia drivers, Aditya Patel and Maron Stockinger, are in a confident frame of mind in what looks like will be a very open championship this year.
Practice starts tomorrow, Friday, with qualifying and race one on Saturday and race two on Sunday. All drivers took part in the official test at the circuit last weekend and both Marlon and Aditya performed well. The series is more open than usual due to the low number of “second year” drivers in the championship which should help rookie drivers such as Marlon and Aditya.
