Formula BMW Europe Rookie driver, Antonio Martinez, is taking advantage of the opportunity to get some more racing miles under his belt by competing in rounds 3 -6 of the Formula BMW Pacific Series to be held at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia on May 28-31st.
Martinez, who is racing with Fortec Motorsport in Europe, will take advantage of the four races to be held at the Asian Festival of Speed to gain more race experience at the venue of the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix. Eurasia Motorsport’s Mark Goddard reported that the team was looking forward to working with the young Spaniard and that the team hope his experience in Sepang will assist him in his Formula BMW Europe campaign.
Martinez will have plenty of running with the event consisting of official testing on Thursday of race week, practice on Friday and qualifying and two races on Saturday May 30th. The event ends with two more races on Sunday May 31st.
