New in 2018 this is an FIA Certified series offering Super-Licence points. Part of the new FIA template for aspiring F1 drivers (Karting – F4 – Regional F3 – International F3 – F2 –F1) this is an important step in a young drivers career. F3 is an essential step in any driver’s development, whether it be for F1, LMP, GT or Touring car aspirants. The F3 Asian Series features a Tatuus chassis with halo and powered by a 270hp turbo charged 1742cc Autotecnica Alfa Romeo engine. In 2019 the Championship became a winter series with the last event of the 2019-20 Series ending in February 2020. Expect the 2020-21 Series to start in October or November 2020. In the meantime one off F3 events may be held once racing resumes in 2020.
