Australian Chris Wootton returns to the F.BMW Pacific Series for a second season joining Eurasia Motorsport for a concerted attack on the championship. Wootton, who is a second year BMW Junior driver, will start as one of the favourites for championship honours. He joins Axcil Jefferies in the team and together they form an extremely strong line up.
“We are very happy to have Chris join the team and I am sure after his experience last year he will be an extremely strong contender for the championship” reports Eurasia Motorsport’s Mark Goddard. “Historically drivers who have done well in their first year have gone on to do very well in their second year in the series and I am confident Chris will follow that trend. I am sure our drivers will work well together and that Axcil and Chris will push each other to ever higher limits. We are really looking forward to the season and can’t wait for the first race at the Malaysian F1 GP in Sepang on April 4-5th”.
The team hopes to add a third driver to their line up before testing resumes at the Sepang Circuit on March 3rd prior to the test ban which effectively starts on March 12th.
