Eurasia’s 2012 F.Pilota Champion wins FIA F.3 European race

Antonio Giovinazzi took an accomplished win in race three of the Red Bull Ring weekend adding to the continuing success of Eurasia Motorsport graduates. It was his second on the road win of the weekend but a penalty for a safety car infringement took the victory away. After winning his first race in the 2012 F.Pilota Series the floodgates opened for Giovinazzi and we hope this applies to him for the F3 European Championship.
Giovinazzi started from pole, took the lead from a fast starting Tom Blomqvist half way round the first lap and then proceeded to pull away until a safety car bunched the field up again. This time Antonio made no mistakes and then pulled away to take an accomplished 3.1 second race win.
A Eurasia Motorsport graduate once again demonstrates the grounding they receive from the team is as good as they can receive in any part of the globe – Asian motorsport really is producing race winners from F1 down.
The next Eurasia Motorsport event is at Sepang on August 17th with three rounds of the 2014 Formula Masters China Series.
