Sho Hanawa will miss the first round of the Australian F3 Championship after his management company declared insolvency leaving the Japanese driver without funds for the first F3A round at Adelaide. It is hoped that he will be able to join the series from round two.
“The team was shocked to learn of this development which has left us in the lurch. We have attempted to find a replacement but at such short notice it was not possible” reported Team Principal, Mark Goddard. “We hope Hanawa will be able to resolve the problem with his management company which will allow him to complete the season. We are also investigated the possibility of running other drivers as we are extremely keen to compete in the Australian Championship, especially after investing so much time and money in our campaign”.
