Sixteen year old Sho Hanawa completed a three test with Eurasia Motorsport at the Sepang F1 circuit in Malaysia. The team are now well into their driver evaluation program for 2006 with their next test scheduled at Sepang from February 3-6th.
The test was the first Formula BMW run for the young Japanese karting ace and he impressed the team by improving over the three days and by setting competitive times on the final day. “He hardly out a foot wrong and he really impressed us with his feedback. I am sure he would be competitive in Formula BMW Asia” reported Team Manager, Martin Quick.
2005 Team driver, Aaron Lim, also had a run and was immediately right on the pace. “Aaron will definitely be a championship contender this year” remarked Quick.
Eurasia Motorsport testing resumes at Sepang on February 3-6th.
