Korean karting champion, Kim Jeong Tae, has joined Eurasia for the 2015 Formula Masters China Series after a successful test at the Sepang F1 Circuit. He joins Sean Hudspeth, Aidan Read and Hua Miao for the Asian junior driver development series. The 2015 VW backed series is shaping up to be the best yet with a large competitive field developing.
Kim started racing only three years ago in Rotax, winning the junior series in Korea and then going on to triumph in the Korean Senior Rotax Max championship last year. He dovetailed this with the Asia Cup gaining some experience in the Mygale F.BMW chassis cars. Kim has now tested with Eurasia for six days at Sepang and is already posting some competitive times. “We have been impressed with his speed and application and he just gets better every time he sits in the car” reports Eurasia’s Mark Goddard. Testing continues at Sepang on March 9-11 with the first event at the Malaysian F1 circuit on April 26th.
