Matt Solomon wins dramatic Inje Formula Masters race three

Solomon started third, watched James Munro and Dan Wells jump the start and then Munro roll out of the race after contact with his team mate. The race was red flagged after Matthew Swanepoel spun and was “T – Boned” by Akhil Rabindra at the last turn on lap two. After the debris was cleared the race restarted under the safety car and Solomon sensibly followed Wells home in the knowledge the latter would receive a jump start penalty. Bo Yuan finished 4th from 15th on the grid and received the “top Chinese Driver of the event” award.
Pu Jun Jin’s bad luck continued when he ran wide onto the Astro turf resulting in a spin into retirement.
The series now moves to Sepang, a circuit where Solomon has set stunning testing times. “Matt really goes well at Sepang and now he has two wins under his belt I am expecting to add to our race win tally” reports Mark Goddard of Eurasia.
