Kyle Mitchell held on to fourth place despite suffering from his cycling injuries whilst Akhil Kushlani proved he is a real racer by scything his way though the field from the back of the grid to take 8th place. Mitchell was second rookie home whilst Akhil was third in class.
At the start the top three got away leaving Mitchell to hold off the pack. He was able to open up a gap towards the end finishing six seconds up on David Zhu. Akhil meanwhile overtook seven cars in ten laps to finish 8th less than three seconds shy of Zhu. It was the drive of the race and kept the spectators entertained.
Round 7 takes place later today.
