Partiv Sureshwaren finished seventh in the V6 Asia Sprint race at the Sepang Circuit in Malaysia having started from the pit lane as a result of a qualifying session off into the turn one barriers.
It looked like the Indian driver was going to be well up the grid before he hit the wall wiping off the left hand front suspension. “I braked a little too late for turn one and the car swapped ends and hit the wall on the left” explained a contrite Sureshwaren.
The team did wonders to repair the car on time to start the sprint race from the pit lane and Partiv drove extremely well in a car that had its tracking set by eyeball only. He finished on the same lap as race winner Marchy Lee and goes into the main race tomorrow full of confidence.
