Practice and qualifying was under whelming with Elliott Schutte and Jaxon Evans struggling to balance the car. The Ferrari, which runs with technical support from Eurasia Motorsport, was transformed for the races with the duo racing from 5th to the podium in Race One and from 10th to 5th in race two. This despite a success penalty of 10 seconds added pit stop time in the first race and 5 seconds in race two.
The balance issue prior to the races was out of the hands of the team before some set up changes became available post qualifying. Next round will be held at Queensland Raceway on June 12-14. The team hopes to close the now 7 point deficit to the championship leaders particularly as there will be no pit stop time penalty in the first race.
