Podium finish for Eric Cheung in GT3

Eric Cheung finished third in the GT3 Asia Masters Class in a very wet round six of the Championship held at Sepang on July 8th. Samson Chan and Frank Yu both spun off in the treacherous conditions.

Torrential rain made for tricky conditions and these caught out both Samson Chan and Frank Yu on the second lap at turn 13. The race was neutralised under the safety car whilst the cars were removed to safety. Eric Cheung drove a sensible race to finish third in the Masters Class and bag another podium for the team.

“We were disappointed to have two cars spin out and retire but the weekend demonstrated we now have three reliable cars and each development we are putting on the car seems to be an improvement” reported Mark Goddard of Eurasia Craft.
