The final Formula Masters China race of the Zhuhai weekend was a real nail biter with team mates Matthew Solomon and Yuan Bo disputing the lead with Dan Wells. Solomon hounded Wells for the first two thirds of the race which allowed Yuan Bo to tow up to the leaders and take advantage of Solomon of being slowed in his attempts to pass. Yuan Bo was able to take second which allowed Wells to escape whilst the Eurasia team mates disputed the runner up place. Solomon, with championship points leader James Munro finishing in 7th, was happy to have reduced the points gap with one event, three races to go in Shanghai next month. Yuan Bo was ecstatic to take his first overall podium.
Sean Hudspeth finished 9th with Pu Jun Jin 12th and Hua Miao 14th.
