Indonesian Zahir Ali is hoping that a home advantage, racing at the Sentul Circuit near Jakarta, will allow him to produce his best results of the year to date.

“I am sure racing before my home crowd will give me more confidence although I actually have very little experience at the Sentul Circuit, having only raced there once” reported an upbeat Ali. “So far this year I have been able to make some very competitive lap times in the races but I have been let down by my starts. The team has really worked hard with me to improve my start technique and I am sure I can be on the podium in all three races this weekend”

Ali is an Asian Karting Champion and is widely considered as one of the best young hopes to come out of Indonesia. “We have been impressed with his determination and I am sure he will start producing the results we all expected once he can get off the line well” stated the team driver coach, Mark Goddard.
