Axcil Jefferies, who currently lies a close third in the Formula BMW Pacific Series, is confident he can reduce the 22 point gap to the lead of the Championship over the Singapore F1 GP weekend.

In the ten races of the 2009 Series held to date Jefferies has taken two wins, four podium finishes and has not finished a race lower than in fourth place. An impressive record for his first year in car racing. “Axcil is improving every time he sits in the car and I am sure he will relish the challenge of his first experience of a street circuit” reported Mark Goddard of Eurasia Motorsport. “There are five races to go before the final in Macau and Axcil is confident he can close the points gap to the leader. Like his team mate, Chris Wootton, he is demonstrating prodigious talent for his experience and he will keep getting better.”

Practice and qualifying takes place this Friday afternoon with race one on Saturday and the second race on Sunday evening.
