Craft Eurasia drivers, Frank Yu and Samson Chan, finished first and second in the GT Race at the Malaysian F1 GP. The two Ginetta G50Z GT3 drivers fought over the lead in a dramatic race which ran several laps under the safety car after a first lap accident.

The first of two races took place on Saturday at the Sepang F1 Circuit. Yu and Chan racing with Philip  Ma who over-took Yu on the last corner of the last lap after an entertaining race.

The second race, held before the F1 GP, saw Dilantha Malagamuwa trigger a multi-car accident on the run up to the first turn at the start. The safety car was deployed for several laps whilst the mess was cleaned up. Philip Ma took the lead from Frank Yu and Samson Chan on the first lap, unfortunately after the safety car was deployed. At the re-start Yu and Chan pushed Ma all the way to the flag although they took no risks on the assumption Ma would receive a penalty. Once the twenty second penalty was applied it left the two Craft Eurasia drivers to take a one-two finish.

New team mate, Francis Onda in his Ferrari 430 GT3, qualified a fine fifth on the grid for race one. However a couple of spins in the race left him with a lowly starting position for race two. He just managed to avoid the lap one carnage and finished 8th out of the 27 starters.
