Antonio Giovinazzi and Parth Ghorparde qualified fastest for the first and third races respectively at the Guangdong International Circuit in China. Team Mate, Sean Gelael, qualified third in both sessions held in cool and blustery conditions. The grid for race two will be made up of the finishing positions of race one. The first two races will be held on Saturday September 15th with the final race on Sunday._

The first session was a tense affair with the fastest time being swapped between championship rivals, Giovinazzi and Dan Wells. The latter looked to have wrapped up the top spot before his Italian rival put in a stunning lap just before the flag. Sean Gelael also improved at the end to grab third spot whilst early pace setter, Parth Ghorpade, was relegated to fourth place.

Session two had Japanese Ren Nagabuchi on top spot until the final lap when Parth Ghorpade put in a lap .091 of a second quicker. Sean Gelael was again third whilst Giovinazzi was relegated to fourth when he failed to improve on the vital last couple of laps before the flag.

“Tomorrow is going to be exciting, any of our three drivers is capable of winning and Wells and Nagabuchi are going to be tough competition” reports Eurasia Team Manager, Mark Goddard. “It’s a tight technical circuit and usually produces close racing.”
