The team’s Ferrari 296 GT3 cars, which are supported by Eurasia Motorsport, won both GT World Challenge Australia races held on the series second visit to the iconic Phillip Island circuit. Chas Mostert and Liam Talbot increased their championship lead with a win and second place whilst Jaxon Evans and Elliot Schutte achieved their first race win of the season.
Race one saw the Mostert-Talbot car lead all the way to take an accomplished win. The sister car had a more adventurous race falling to 10th place avoiding a first lap spinner and then suffering damage in a pit entry collision. Great recovery drives from Schutte and Evans saw then take fourth position at the flag.
Mostert led race two until the pit stops where they dropped to 5th place as a result of the 15 second penalty time in the pits given for their race one win. This allowed their sister car, without any pit stop penalty time, to take the lead. Talbot rejoined the race in 5th place and was able to dispose of the opposition quickly and finish on the tail of Elliot Schutte.
Next round is a three hour endurance race at Sydney Motorsport Park on October 20th.
