Eurasia Motorsport graduate Daniel Ricciardo, who raced with us in his first season of car racing in the Formula BMW Asia Series, has been confirmed as the 2014 replacement for Mark Webber in the Red Bull F1 Team. The team congratulates Daniel, who has said publicly that the grounding he received at Eurasia was a major factor in his subsequent success. Daniel’s success is proof that racing in Asia is a viable first step in a driver’s career, moving from F.BMW Asia to F1 in only five years. Formula Masters China Series (FMCS) is the current Asian Driver Development Formula in which Eurasia Motorsport continues to give drivers a World Class introduction to car racing.

The VW backed German F3 powered Tatuus chassis offers drivers the ideal vehicle in which to learn their craft racing in a competitive manufacturer-supported series. It not only caters for future F1 stars but is also the perfect start for drivers looking to forge a career in GT and sportscars, with the VW China Group looking to the series to produce competitive drivers for their programs in these categories.

“When Daniel drove for us we knew he had a great future in motor sport and he really worked hard to get where he is now. We have had many drivers go on to forge successful careers at some of the highest levels of the sport, and I believe it is because we understand the need to give all our drivers the best possible grounding in the sport.” reports Eurasia’s Mark Goddard. “Plans for 2014 are now under way and drivers interested in following in the footsteps of Daniel should contact us at mark@eurasiamotorsport.com”
