Aaron Chang qualified on pole position for the Formula Pilota Master race at the Sepang F1 Circuit. Team mate, Jordan Oon, will start alongside him with fellow Eurasia driver, Natasha Seatter, starting on the second row.

Chang’s 2m 6.545 compares well with the previous weekend’s Championship final pole time demonstrating his improvement after a week of testing at the Malaysian circuit. Jordan Oon has been swapping fastest times throughout testing and was disappointed to make a mistake on his fastest lap which cost him a couple of tenths.

Natasha Seatter is splitting the two Super License drivers and is confident she will go one better than her fourth starting position in the race. The grid for the Masters Final will be determined by the finishing positions in the Qualifying race. This was scheduled for this afternoon but torrential rain before the start saw the cars pushed off the grid due to the unsafe conditions and the race will now be held tomorrow (Saturday) morning. The final will also take place on Saturday prior to the start of the 1000km Touring Car event.
