Matthew Solomon comes hot off two race wins at the last Formula Masters China Series event at Inje in Korea and he is looking to add to his race win tally at Sepang this weekend. Pu Jun Jin and Yuan Bo are also aiming for some podium results, all three drivers having performed well in pre-season testing at the Malaysian F1 Circuit.
Matthew Solomon in pre-season testing at Sepang was consistently the fastest driver. “Matt won twice in Inje and he now no longer thinks he can be a race winner but knows he is a race winner which makes a big difference to a driver’s confidence. What we can say is he will competitive for sure” remarked Team Principal Mark Goddard. “Pu Jin Jin is now a consistent top six qualifier and he is due some good luck. He knows the circuit well so we are hopeful of a podium from him this time. Yuan Bo is also improving with every event and there is no reason why he cannot do the same. We hope that Hua Miao will see some improvement, he tested with us before the season and we could see has a lot of potential. Dominic is a novice with limited Formula Car experience, we will be happy to see him gain experience”
