Car #33 / EURASIA MOTORSPORT (PHL) / Oreca 03R - Nissan / Pu Jun Jin (CHN) / Nico Pieter De Bruijn (NLD) - ELMS 4 Hours of Silverstone at Northamptonshire - Towcester - EnglandEurasia Motorsport will make its Italian debut at Autodromo Enzo & Dino Ferrari (Imola) in Round 2 of the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), where it will be hoping to finish inside the top five with its ORECA 03R Nissan LMP2 (15-16 May).

Imola was the venue for the Formula 1 San Marino Grand Prix for a number of years, but will be the venue for the second instalment of the 2015 ELMS this coming weekend.

The beautiful and evocative track, which hosts the ELMS for the third consecutive year, is known for its very technical 3.05mile, 17-turn layout and for being difficult to conquer, with its twists and turns requiring a superior level of driving.

The Asia-based Eurasia Motorsport team will once again field a sole ORECA 03R Nissan LMP2 prototype for mainland Chinese driver Pu Jun Jin and Nick de Bruijn from The Netherlands after ticking all the boxes at Silverstone last month, crossing the line in a respectable fifth position.

The team accumulated a huge amount of data over the Silverstone weekend and know exactly where the time to the race winner was lost, therefore numerous changes will be implemented to aid its podium challenge on Italian soil.

With confidence high in the Eurasia camp, the team is aiming to finish the four-hour endurance race one spot higher than what was achieved at Silverstone, and the team believes that the ORECA 03R Nissan will perform well at Imola.

Eurasia Motorsport Team Principal, Mark Goddard, said: “We hope to build on the solid start we had at Silverstone and we are really looking forward to Imola. It will be a new experience for both team and drivers, but the European Le Mans Series provides a good amount of practice time prior to qualifying, which will allow us to get up to speed.”
