2009 British Formula Ford champion, James Cole, will race for the team at Macau in the final round of the Formula BMW Pacific Series this weekend. It’s an opportunity to learn the circuit prior to racing in the F3 Macau GP in the future.
Cole won a hard fought British Formula Ford Championship this season and should adapt to the F.BMW car quickly at the renowned Macau street circuit. “The driver makes a huge difference at Macau and James has demonstrated he possesses tremendous car control in Formula Ford this year which should help him be at the front end of the field” stated Mark Goddard of Eurasia Motorsport.
James will join the team’s series drivers, Chris Wootton and Axcil Jefferies, whilst Paul Lau returns to the team for this event. Practice will be held on Thursday November 19th with qualifying on Saturday and the race on Sunday 22nd.
