Aaron Lim hopes that the Goldenport Circuit will see a reversal of his fortunes this season. He is confident that he will be vying for a race win at the Beijing Circuit on June 10-11th.

Lim had thought he would be sitting on the sidelines this year before BMW stepped in with a US$50,000 scholarship just before the first event a the Malaysian GP last March. The deal was done so late the car was still being bolted together moments before first practice for the event. Unsurprisingly Lim struggled with several new car problems but still managed to finish both races.

The second event, also held at the Sepang F1 circuit, saw Lim a little off the pace suffering with braking problems. “Aaron is an extremely talented driver and everyone in the team are working hard to ensure he can really demonstrate his talent this weekend in Beijing” reports Team Manager Martin Quick. “Its hard to come into a season at the last minute and race against guys who have been testing all winter. I am sure Aaron will be able to demonstrate what he is capable of in Beijing and that his prior circuit knowledge will really help”
