Richard Bradley took two dominant race wins in rounds seven and eight of the F.BMW Pacific Series held at the Guangdong International Circuit in China. Duvashen Padayachee was third in round seven whilst Nabil Jeffri added to his points haul with fourth and fifth places.

A wet qualifying session saw Bradley qualify second to Jordan Oon whilst Padayachee would start in fifth place and Jeffri in seventh. Kotaro Sakurai ended the session in 14th place after spinning out. The start of round 7 saw a determined Bradley take the lead in turn one and he went on to put on a magnificent display of wet weather driving drawing away from the field with each lap whilst never putting a foot wrong. Padayachee and Jeffri were part of a great five car battle for third place, Padayachee grabbing the place on the final lap. Jeffri was fifth with Sakurai a good tenth from the back of the grid.

The rain had abated for round 8 but the track was still damp. Most drivers opted for slicks, including the four from Eurasia. Bradley was quickly past the wet shod Oon by turn three on lap one and once again drew away from the field. Padayachee ended the day on lap two after being punted off the circuit whilst Nabil Jeffri was in the thick of the battle for second place. On lap six the safety car was out whilst several cars were retrieved from the gravel traps. This included Kotaro Sakurai who had gone off in turn one. At the re-start Bradley again drove away to take a well judged victory. Nabil Jeffri was less than a second behind the third placed driver at the flag.

Eurasia Motorsport take a 55 point lead in the Team Championship into rounds 9 and 10 which will be held tomorrow, Sunday 5th. Bradley now has a 48 point lead in the driver’s championship.
