The run up to the first event of the 2013 Formula Masters China Series to be held at Zhuhai on May 9-12 will feature test days on Monday to Wednesday, May 6-8 at the Chinese circuit. The same Tatuus chassis used in Formula Abarth and Formula Pilota will be mated to a VW F3 engine in an exciting step for the established driver development series. Eurasia Motorsport, the reigning Formula Pilota champions, has a car available for Zhuhai and beyond. Drivers wanting to join the winning team should contact Mark Goddard at mark@eurasiamotorsport.com for details of how to follow in the footsteps of Eurasia graduates such as F1 points scoring young star, Daniel Ricciardo. The Formula Masters car is a great way to develop the skills necessary to move to Formula Renault in Europe or straight to Formula Three or GP3. The VW F3 engine fitted to the tried and tested Tatuus chassis has produced the ideal driver development tool. Lots of downforce and a ‘German F3’ specification engine results in a car capable of producing sufficient performance to challenge the driver yet allowing karting graduates to cope in the first step beyond karts.

Eurasia is the reigning championship winning team (Formula Pilota China 2012, same chassis with Fiat engine) and we believe our technical depth and renowned driver coaching provides the best possible opportunity for a young driver to develop. The first event at Zhuhai offers a huge amount to running and allows any driver to get up to speed for the first event. It’s an opportunity not to be missed.
