Date posted on August 11, 2006 · Published by Mark Goddard

Eurasia Motorsports driver, Ananda Mikola, topped the timesheets in two of the three practice sessions held today and set the fastest time of the day. Saturday will see qualifying and the sprint race and Mikola now looks favourite to take top honours

Karun Chandook looks to be the closest challenger, the Indian driver posting fatest time in the final session. The top four drivers are all within a couple of tenths of each other pointing to an extremely exciting today tomorrow. Mikola’s best time, 1m 32.7, is sure to be shattered tomorrow once new tyres are run for qualifying.
