Eurasia Motorsport provides technical and management support to the two car Ferrari 296 GT3 team with Chaz Mostert and Liam Talbot sharing one car and Jaxon Evans and Elliott Schutte in the other. Round Three held over the August 2-4 weekend was always going to be a struggle with the track layout favouring the opposition compared to the Ferrari which flourishes in high speed corners. Add in another BOP hit and the team knew this was going to be a damage limitation event. In this they were successful with Mostert and Talbot coming away still in first place in the championship with a one point lead. Evans and Schutte lie in 5th place just 20 points away from their team mates and remain firmly in the championship mix.

A wild first race saw Mostert and title rival Will Brown come together avoiding a multi-car accident. Brown retired with suspension damage whilst Mostert was able to finish despite damaged steering. Liam Talbot in the first stint came from the back of the grid, due an impeding penalty in qualifying, to third place putting the car right in the mix for a podium finish. Evans and Schutte finished 4th after also being in contention for a podium.

The second race was more civilized. Evans in fourth led Mostert for much of the stint. After the pit stops Talbot and Schutte were in the mix for second place. However Schutte was hit by a back marker and lost a considerable amount of time leaving Talbot to take 4th place at the flag with Schutte in 6th.

The next round is Phillip Island on August 24-25th and the fast flowing circuit is definitely Ferrari territory
