Bo Yuan impresses on Audi R8 LMS Cup car prize test

Confirming the VW Groups ambition to nurture GT stars of tomorrow Eurasia Motorsports Bo Yuan was invited to test an Audi R8 LMS Cup car at Sepang on the Monday following the last FMCS event held at the Malaysian F1 Circuit. Bo is currently leading the F.Masters China Driver Class Championship and he impressed with his performance in the Audi GT car. FMCS is a credible career step for drivers wishing to forge a professional career and the test further demonstrates the VW Groups efforts to assist young drivers to graduate from the Formula Car series.Bo Yuan joined championship leader James Munro and Indonesian Anderson Martono on the test. He set some impressive lap times on both used and new tyres and demonstrated the worth of racing in Formula Masters and the grounding he has received from Eurasia Motorsport.
Eurasia’s Matt Solomon is dovetailing an Audi R8 LMS Cup campaign with FMCS this season, the Hong Kong driver being placed in the GT series through the assistance of the VW Group. Last years FMCS champion, Aiden Wright, is also racing in the Audi R8 LMS Challenge whilst Bao Jin Long is racing in Porsche Carrera Cup Asia alongside his FMCS duties.
