Daniel Ricciardo finished a fine fourth, third in the Rookie Class with Dominic Storey 7th, fourth in the Rookie Class with Aaron Lim 10th and Zahir Ali 11th. Hamad Al Fardan won the race.
At the start Sam Abay led from a fast starting Hamad, Grunwell, Ricciardo, Bamber and Storey. Lim made a good start to complete the lap in eighth whilst Zahir Ali was slow off the line and in 12th place.
Hamad grabbed the lead on lap two whilst You passed Storey. The top three began pulling away from a three way dice between Ricciardo, Bamber and a fast closing You. On lap three Bamber passed Ricciardo into turn four but the latter repaid the favour a lap later at the same corner. Lap six and Bamber goes by Ricciardo into turn one whilst a lap later You spun trying to go round the outside of Ricciardo at turn one allowing Bamber to make a break. Grunwell swept past Abay at turn one and started to push Hamad. A lap later Hamad went off at turn six but rejoined still in the lead which he held to the end despite the best efforts of Grunwell.
Lim lost a place with a lap to go and just held off Zahir Ali at the line.
