Daniel Ricciardo had a race long dice with James Grunwell for third place, losing out despite the pair swapping places several times. Lim was a competitive fifth whilst Zahir Ali spun out after contact with Grunwell in an attempt to pass.
Earl Bamber again took a lights to flag win whilst Sam Abay was also second again. Ricciardo was third for the first few laps before Grunwell and Zahir Ali closed in. Ali tried a brave move on Grunwell into turn one which ended in the gravel. Grunwell closed on Daniel and found a way past into turn one. Daniel went by again at turn four but Grunwell again took third a couple of laps later at turn one. That’s how they finished. Dominic Storey had his front wing damaged by Aditya Akkineni on the first lap and was forced to understeer his way round to a disappointed 8th place finish.
