Zahir Ali is confident he can get it together for the Bira race this weekend and achieve his first podium finish of the year. The Indonesian has shown flashes of speed to date and he is hopeful that he can convert this into a good result.
This is the first year of car racing for the Indonesian and he has been showing steady progress throughout the year. “We are sure Zahir has the talent and speed to win races and he has shown a sensible approach to his racing this year, building his experience with a view to challenging for the Championship in 2007” remarked Mark Goddard of Eurasia Motorsport. “Now I am sure he is ready to finish in the top three and the whole team will be surprised if he is not right up there for the balance of the season”.
