Axcil Jefferies from Zimbabwe has signed with Eurasia Motorsport for the 2009 Formula BMW Pacific season. Jefferies has been setting the pace in recent testing at the Sepang F1 Circuit and he will start the season as a potential race winner, both in the overall and rookie championships.
Jefferies, who combined a Formula BMW testing campaign with his karting commitments in 2008, is scheduled to complete several more test days at Sepang Circuit prior to the first event of the season which supports the Malaysian F1 GP.
Mark Goddard of Eurasia Motorsport comments “Axcil has been putting in some stunning performances in testing and we go into the 2009 season with high hopes of a competitive season”.
